Energy-Saving Timber Frame Homes
Scandia-Hus was established in February 1974 and now, 50 years later, we are the largest designer and supplier of Swedish energy-saving timber frame homes in the UK.
Swedish Technology, British Craftsmanship
We have a wealth of experience at our disposal and a reputation for combining the benefits of advanced Swedish technology with the best of traditional British architectural style and craftsmanship. Our timber frame homes are beautiful, individual and remarkably energy-efficient, and today over 5,000 Scandia-Hus homes have been built throughout the UK from Scotland to the Sussex coast, as well as on British crown dependencies, from Guernsey in the Channel Islands to the Isle of Man.
We have Swedish roots, but all our timber frame kits are manufactured in the UK, with our self build show centre and factory both located in Sussex. This allows our in-house architectural technicians, 3D designers and project managers to work closely together with the factory team to ensure the finished product is exactly what our self build client imagined.
