Self Build Runs in the Family

Bespoke Timber Frame HomeOur newest case study features Emma whose parents built their own timber frame Scandia-Hus in the 1970s and having grown up in such a spacious, light, and warm home Emma knew that she wanted to provide the same experience for her own family.

In June 2020 the  self build project was complete, and the family were able to move into their bespoke Scandia home. The house incorporates a smart automation system, which controls the lights, sound, security alarm, underfloor heating, and electric blinds, as well as integrating with the photovoltaic panels, air source heat pump and mechanical ventilation.

They praise the Scandia team for working with them and guiding them throughout the process, making it understandable and enjoyable.  Read the case study by clicking here.
