Plasterboard

We are trialling a new plasterboard in our Show House which is part of the Lifestyle Wall range manufactured by British Gypsum. This will give us greater flexibility and strength for fixing shelves, curtain poles, and TVs into place without the need for specialist fixings as well as improved sound insulation.

First fix electrics

The electricians have been hard at work starting the first fix of the house. You can see the cables in place for the lights across the ground floor. Wiring for our outside lights has also been run into place.

Blockwork

The builders finished the skin of concrete blocks this week. They have now reached roof level and so we are ready for the renderers to do their preparation before the building is rendered in a brilliant white finish

Door

The front door was also installed this week. It has been covered and protected before any more work continues on the outside of the building
